Mastery Abilities Get Real Controls

30 July 2026

Overdrive, Distribution Hub, Rush Order and Artisan Conversion were mastery choices you had picked but could not easily use. Each now has a proper control on the city page, with its cooldown on the button and its readiness on the building row.

Artisan Conversion has been rebuilt on top of the NPC exchange, and it now converts at the real pair ratio rather than a flat 65% of value.

Mastery abilities on the city page

Every mastery ability now looks and behaves the same way: a launch button that carries its own cooldown, and a readiness chip on the building row so you can see from the list whether it is worth opening.

  • new
NEW:Readiness chips on the building list

You can tell which abilities are ready without opening each building in turn.

  • new
    NEW:Launch buttons carry their cooldown

Including a live countdown on Rush Order, rather than a button that silently refuses.

  • reworked
    Overdrive
WasA separate action you had to find and trigger on its own.
NowA collection choice presented under the Collect button, where the decision is actually made.
  • improved
    Distribution Hub
WasEntry boxes showing the amount to move, with no cooldowns in view.
NowAfter-transfer balances shown by default, a Max button, inline cooldowns, and a count of how many resources are ready.

Diamond is excluded from the readiness count, and the button stays clickable while any one resource is ready instead of requiring all of them.

Artisan Conversion

  • reduced
Conversions use the real pair ratio
WasEvery conversion returned a flat 65% of the input's value, regardless of which resources were involved.
NowThe pair's own ratio applies, then the 65% efficiency.

Converting between resources of very different value was profitable under the flat rate. This closes that.

  • improved
    The cooldown is 6 hours
    Was12 hours.
    Now6 hours.
  • improved
    Rebuilt on the exchange screen

Same layout as the NPC exchange, including a Max button, the live rate, and a guard against entering more than you hold.

Trading away from home

  • reworked
Your daily trade allowance comes from your home city
WasThe cap was read from whichever city your envoy was standing in, so visiting a player with a bigger Market raised your own allowance.
NowIt is your home city's Market that sets it, wherever you trade.

Fair play and privacy

  • reduced
Other players' stored resources and collection timings are hidden

Both were readable, which told you exactly when a rival's extractors would come off cooldown.

  • reduced
Building levels on the map are checked by the server

What the map showed about another player's city could be edited on your own machine and believed.

  • new
    NEW:Warnings must be acknowledged

A moderation warning now appears as a modal you have to read and accept before continuing. A suspended account gets a full-screen notice explaining the suspension, instead of a sign-in screen that loops.

Fixes

  • Trading at another player's city no longer spends that player's resources.

The NPC exchange took the goods from the host city rather than from the visiting trader, and quoted the host's rates while doing it.

  • Collecting from several extractors saves every cooldown.

A batch collection locked the land once per extractor, and only the last one's cooldown survived, so the rest could be collected again immediately.

  • "Collect All" reports what actually happened.

Full storage now offers a partial collection rather than refusing silently, failures in a batch are named, and a rate-limited retry no longer surfaces as an error.

  • One storage-full warning per action.

A batch could stack a warning per extractor, each with its own timer.

  • Diligence applies the same terrain rules as the rest of collection.
  • The Foundation Stone shows its lore again, and names the rewards it guarantees.
  • Mastery and wonder icons resolve through their lookup maps.

Several were broken images because the filename was being guessed from the display name.

  • The map collapses the envoy tracker and zoom controls on a phone.
