Trade Caravan Says What It Delivered
5 August 2026
Trade Caravan delivered goods to a city and told you nothing about it. The arrival now names what was delivered, and the skill's own text says how the delivery is worked out.
Several inflows were also skipping your city's storage ceiling entirely, which is now enforced on all of them.
Trade Caravan
- improvedTrade CaravanCommerce · Tier 4 · 3 ranks
When your envoy arrives at another city linked to its home city by a completed trade route, it delivers goods to that city. The delivery is a share of that city's hourly production of the resource it is weakest at producing. Your envoy earns Cultural Influence based on the amount delivered. Rank 1: 25%. Rank 2: 50%. Rank 3: 100%.
Was"Arriving at a city with a trade route: deliver resources equal to the city's hourly production of their lowest-produced resource type. Earn CI based on amount delivered. 25% / 50% / 100% of hourly production."NowThe text above.A wording change only. The delivery is unchanged. The old text read as though rank 1 delivered a full hour of production and the percentages were something else again.
- newNEW:The arrival says what the caravan delivered
It previously happened silently, so the only evidence was the receiving city's balance.
Storage ceilings
- reducedEvery inflow respects the ceiling
Some routes into your storehouse were not checking capacity at all, so they could push a balance above the ceiling the rest of the game then enforced against you.
- improvedThe whole ceiling is counted everywhere it is shown
The Storage Vault and Storehouse citizen contributions were being included in some places and dropped in others, so the same city could be told two different capacities depending on which screen asked.
Fixes
- Merging a city moves your deposits and nothing else.
- "Merge Score" is explained where it is shown.
It is weighted by the rarity of what you merged, not a count of merges, so 212 is 79 merges rather than 212 of them. Merges the insurance kept are not counted as merges at all.
- Spending Gold is never throttled.
A run of Gold purchases could be refused as too many requests. Gold is bought with real money and will not be rate limited.
- The training screen quotes the payout you will actually receive.
- A delve offers the encounter over a finished safe floor, the same way descending does.
- A failed request for your lands no longer reads as owning no land.
- Skill cards state each thing once.
- A refused request is not retried.
Retrying a rate-limited request multiplied the problem by four.
